Drikung Kagyu Dhagon Kunga Tsel Ling: is one of the most prominence monastery ,which held the great tradition of Phagdru Kagyu or Drikung Kagyu for over 800 years to this day !

THE FOUNDER: Dhagon, Sharling Dhakpa Sonam is the direct heart -son of Chengnya Dakpa Jungne. The seat of Drikung Gyaton Choeje the current being 10th in succession nominated directly by His Holiness Drikung kyabgon

It was the legendary Khunkhen Rigzen Choedark blessed “ Dhagon Vikarmashila Tsuklagkghang.” In short . It is one few monastery listed , and cited in the major academic historical record of Tibet , including Lang-Ki- Puti- Seru , The Blue Annals, and the history of Phagdru Kagyu , Drikung Kagyu, and more . Under its jurisdiction it ,has 13 monasteries based on account of both khenkhen Rigzin choedark

THE BIRTH PLACE OF DRIKUNG MEDICINE AND HEALING .

It is also where , Khunkhen Rigzen Choedark studied the Tibetan medicine and which gave birth to Drikung Sowa Rigpa at DETING GON under the tutelage and supervision of the kong men Soje Konchok Gyaltsen.

With unsurpassable blessing and the timely guidance of His Holiness Drikung kyabgon, and HE Garchen Rinpoche, we would like to raise fund to do monumental renovation to bring back the history , spirituality, blessings at the earliest.
